After passing General Medicine, Proficiency Certificate Level (Health Assistant) from C.T.E.V.T. one can enter the government service through open and internal competitive written examination for the following posts for Nepal Health Service, Health Inspection Group, Assistant Fifth Level of the Public Service Commission.
- Health Assistant/Senior AHW
- Family Planning Supervisor
- Malaria Supervisor/Vector Control Supervisor
- Vaccine Supervisor
- Tuberculosis/Leprosy Supervisor
- Cold Chain Supervisor
- Vector Born Disease Control Supevisor
In addition, after passing the Health Assistant, one can get a permanent job in the security agencies like Nepal Police, Armed Police and Nepal Army and other semi-government and other autonomous government hospitals including civil hospitals. In addition to the job of health assistant, each government service also makes policy arrangements for higher studies. Apart from government services, other private service providers also provide give in hospitals, health institutions and non-governmental organizations.
